Baby is all packed for the big day and things really are getting SO real all of the sudden! With the third baby, you start to weed out the things you don’t think you’ll need and this time around I really tried to simplify… although it’s still filled to the zipper ha! Along with the items I’ve included the handle to each brand if you want to hop over and follow any accounts. Swooning over all these newborn essentials and excited to share so here we go!
BABY HOSPITAL BAG:
- Diaper Bag (@fawndesign) – After loving the ‘original’ diaper bag with Rosie, we knew we wanted it again this time around. THE best bag, and available in more gorgeous colors!
- Boppy – this was Rosie’s but the cover is new by (@ebbandthread), so cute! I use a boppy from birth all through the newborn stage, especially for nursing right away.
- Bundle by (@newborn.nest) – a 7 piece matching newborn welcome set created by a registered nurse and designed for the hospital stay. Includes a swaddle, gown, top knot hat, cuddle blanket, burp cloth, fitted (hospital) bassinet sheet, and a drawstring carrying bag. Also makes the perfect baby gift!
- Brush set @natemiababy – in case he has some hair on his noggin 🙂
- A couple of bonnets and beanies – @sweet_as_april / @briarhandmade / @mebie.baby
- Pacifiers – trying out the @bibs_usa for this babe! I’ve heard great things, we shall see if he likes them.
- Pacifier clips – one by @starryknightdesign and one by @madelines.box
- Nail file + clippers – by NailFrida (@amazon). Some babies come out with the longest nails, ha!
- Birth stats card (@blossomandpear) – I have captured all my pregnancy milestones with these cards and loved them
- Hello World disc (@chico.rose) – wooden milestone pieces I will use for baby to capture weeks/months
- Micro mat (@gathre) – Sleek vegan leather wipeable mat for diaper changes
- Three piece set from (@natemiababy) – white muslin burp cloth, swaddle and bamboo wash cloth, just in case!
- Hand dyed swaddle (@wild_fire_water_) – because it is too beautiful and I want to wrap him up in it right away!
- Jersey knit swaddle (@rafeandmoose) – just another stretchier swaddle, and because I love this color too!
- Wipes + diapers + sanitizer (@hellobello) – loving these for Rosie so decided to get him a newborn bundle to try out.
- Onesie (@harperandgrey) – one of the first things I bought and it’s one of my favs!
- Knotted gown (@dwellandslumber) – soft stretchy baby gown with buttons
- Long John onesie (@thesimplefolkco) – a different look, and soo cute!
- Ribbed knotted gown (@mebie.baby) – just because I adore it and anything ribbed!
- Pre-loved kimono onesie of Rosie’s by (@lovedbaby) – wanted to bring at least one thing of Rosie’s for him and these kimonos are great for when they are newborn!
Sooo that is it! Well we are bringing one more thing (non-pictured by @studio.noel) – a wooden name plate that I can’t show until his announcement photo… ahh stay tuned for that! This post does not include anything of my own to take to hospital (obvi). I hope to make a separate post on that, or at least share in stories since I had many requests!
Cannot believe it’s almost GO time! Trying to stay as nested and prepped as can be… one more thing checked off as DONE! Thanks for reading baby’s checklist!
